- Nylon and Vinyl Coated Steel Cable>
- 3 / 16-1 / 4 X 500 FT, 7X19 Black Nylon Coated Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Cable
Nylon coated steel cable is more durable, but less flexible than vinyl coated steel cable. It is ideal for working cables like gym equipment cables and industrial applications. Unlike vinyl coated steel cable, the nylon coating is suitable for working over sheaves. Our nylon coated steel cable is galvanized to offer greater durability and resistance to corrosion.
Inspect regularly for visible damage, distortion, elongation, corrosion, cracks, nicks or abrasion, which may cause failure or reduce the strength of the Wire Rope.Wire Rope and Steel Cable must be stored, used and maintained in accordance with the normal safety standards.Verify that replacement Wire Ropes are correct for your application and meet your specifications.
Avoid shock loads. Do not load Wire Rope to the breaking strength limits. End user must determine an appropriate safety factor for the application.
