Connecting Hardware

Quick Links

Quick links are the most popular and easiest to use steel chain link or coupling attachment, designed to be reusable and moveable. Quick links are two-sided thread links that you can easily slide onto two original links. All you have to do is tighten the thread with a wrench. Not to be used for overhead lifting.

Lap Links

Steel Chain Connecting Links

The Connecting Links are primarily used to connect two chains or a chain to an end component. The two pieces of the connecting link are pinned together. Do not use without riveting the pins securely. Easy to assemble and connect two pieces of chain requiring only a hammer.

Oval Alloy Steel Chain (Master) Links are forged and suitable for Overhead Lifting. Combine with other Grade 80 components and Grade 80 Chain to create multi-leg slings.

Hammerlock Links

These heavy-duty hammerlock connecting links are invaluable for connecting chain, winch recovery hooks to steel cable and other hardware. They are most definitely not the "weak link in the chain." Easy to assemble and connect two pieces of chain requiring only a hammer.

Cold Shut Links

Cold Shut Links are used to link to or repair steel chains. Use a hammer to pound the end of the cold shut through the eye. Peen the extended end of the cold shut, to prevent the link from opening. Use one size larger cold shut link than chain size. Ex: for 1/4" chain use a 5/16 cold shut. Zinc Plated. *Caution-Improper installation can alter Working Load Limit.

Double Clevis Links

Double Clevis Links feature a simple cotter and pin attachment method. For use in repairing chain or attaching to rings, end links, hooks, pad eyes and other fittings. Working load limit of double clevis must be matched to that of the chain being used. Not approved for overhead lifting or load securement.

S-Hooks

Zinc-Plated S-Hooks, Type 304 Stainless Steel S-Hooks.
